Grilled Hamburgers with All the Fixings & Baked Beans

Ingredients

Quantities are for 4 servings.

  • 2 lb Ground beef (80/20)
  • 8 each Hamburger buns
  • 8 slices American cheese, sliced
  • 2 each (large) Tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 each (large) Red onion, sliced
  • 8 each Lettuce leaves
  • 1 jar Pickles
  • 2 cans (28 oz) Baked beans, canned
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 strips Bacon, chopped

Instructions

  1. Form the ground beef into 8 patties and season with salt and pepper.
  2. For the beans, cook the chopped bacon in a pot until crispy. Add the baked beans, brown sugar, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce, and simmer 20 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and grill the burgers 4-5 minutes per side until they reach 160°F internally (ground beef patties should be cooked well done, not medium), adding cheese in the last minute.
  4. Toast the buns on the grill if desired.
  5. Serve the burgers with all the fixings and the baked beans on the side.
